juniperskyI feel bad for our IT guys. So many changes where made this summer! For one all the computers were updated to Windows 7. For another they lost a few campus Techs. A lot of have earned SmartBoards. Many of the phones on my campus aren't working (all calls go through the computer network). To top it off, not all the drivers on all the new computers are working. The authorization on the Office products didn't go through on everyone's computer so they're having to go to each individual computer and reauthorize Office to work.
They're doing this on short staff and for people who are going insane because it is the start of the school year.
I feel badly for them. I can't wait till our campus tech is hired! He'll be able to take over the issues that we're having on a campus level so that Justin (our district office guy) can start focusing on the network and making sure everything is awesome there. The new guy can hook us all up to the printers! I'm about to start using my home printer to print some things I need for the first day. I just hate wasting ink when I shouldn't have to. Every room has a lovely printer!
I just hope the new guy is awesome... and works fast!!
