While he's been gone the last two days I've been playing his Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword and I'm finding myself extreamly drawn in. I've even made i past one of the temples!!! (seriously, this is a miracle!) The only ever game I've ever gotten anywhere in was Final Fantasy X, and that was mostly nostalgia for when Joshua was a whole person. (I quit playing when I couldn't figure out how to get through one of the temples or whatever they're called there. Little did I know that the interweb would've told me how to get through it x.x.)
So, back on topic, I've always considered first person games rather stupid. I enjoyed the ones you play with partners much more. But... I guess I get it now. Having a game guide, having watched Taylor play most of these levels, and having the interwebs helps keep my interest.
Though I was about to throw in the towel twice today. 1) fricken big spiders that I couldn't get past! (I texted Taylor my frustration and directly after beat it.) 2) Stupid rope vines that I couldn't swing from one to the other. I reread the guides, watched some online videos, then finally texted Taylor my frustration. (right after which I was able to get across. -- Seeing a trend here anyone?)
Though I do need to get down to work now, there's so much to do.
Also... I need a surprised face avatar.
