We have a new bishopric! Bishop Jerry Goodwin, first counselor Joel
Geroot, and second counselor Paul Colton. The cool and rather unusual
part of this is that both brother Geroot and Colton are under the age of
35. Bishop Goodwin is also much younger.

It isn't atypical, just slightly different in a ward of our size where
there are a lot of high priests already.

The funny thing was that Bishop Reigngsns was announcing the hymns and said
"let us all pass on" instead of "let us all press on." So funny!

I love our lay ministry, I really do, but one has to be so careful. If the
teacher hasn't done their research well, they can pass on false knowledge
so easily. Especially when they deviate from the lesson. They aren't
doing it purposely, out in order to hurt any particular organization, but
false misconceptions are poised on, and it bugs me. We dislike when
misconceptions are passed on about us, we shouldn't do it either!
