Grammar Snitch in me doesn't care so much about grammar when one is writing informally. When on Facebook or other such sites I just roll my eyes, and point it out if I want to annoy the person posting.
However, when I receive emails from my principal, via the school email, I do expect some grammar to be followed. Specifically the use of commas.
"Happy Thanksgiving to you. Enjoy your respite, the food and the family. Return to us safely, Monday."
*twitch* It should be,
"Happy Thanksgiving to you. Enjoy your respite, food, and family. Return to us safely on/by Monday."
